Customer Service

PEcado accepts payment for on-line purchases via Paypal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. The transaction will be charged to your debit/credit card only after we have confirmed stock availability, and your order is ready to be shipped (Excluding Custom Orders).

Prices displayed on the website are exclusive of taxes. When you proceed to purchase your order, sales tax and customs duty (where applicable) will be calculated on the total merchandise value and shipping charges and displayed on the Order Summary page.

USA

If you are shipping within the USA, sales tax will only be charged on orders shipped to Michigan. PEcado is not required to and does not collect sales or use tax in any other states. However, your purchase may be subject to local use tax unless it is exempt from taxation. It is your responsibility as the customer to report any purchases of tangible personal property that have not been taxed by PEcado and pay use tax on those purchases unless exempt under local state law.

International

Outside the USA, most destinations are shipped to on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, which means that all relevant import taxes and duties will be additionally applied to your purchase price. For more information on international shipping and rated please e-mail info@pecadolimited.com.

PEcado offers Free Ground Shipping on all US orders (including Hawaii and Alaska). When placing your order, simply select your preferred delivery option on the shipping page before proceeding to purchase.

We insure each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point the responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you are not the recipient of your purchase (for example a gift order) then the person who signs for the package confirms receipt and is accountable for the package. PEcado purchases may not be shipped to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses. You will be contacted by e-mail with a UPS or FedEx tracking number when your order leaves our distribution center.

To estimate the total delivery time for your purchase, please allow up to two business days to process your order for shipment, in addition to the time indicated by your preferred shipping method (i.e. UPS or FedEx next day, second-day).

Please note that items are not guaranteed in stock due to orders being filled from multiple locations. If we are unable to complete your order, you will be notified via email within 5 business days.

Please note next day is only available for orders placed before 2:00 PM EST Monday thru Thursday, excluding holidays. This is subject to any additional anti-fraud screening that may be required.

Making a return or exchange is easy. Just make sure you request a Returns Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and send your item(s) back to us within 7 days after receiving your order for a full refund. Returns outside these timeframes may be accepted at the discretion of Pecado and may only be refunded as a store credit. 7-day return policy applies only to online and store purchases. All Custom Order sales and sale merchandise transactions are final. Please note that shipping costs will not be subject to refund.

Merchandise must be returned in new conditions: unworn and not damaged (excluding manufacturer defects), with tags attached/enclosed, and accompanied by the original www.pecadolimited.com invoice. A Returns Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number should be requested online within 7 days of receiving your order. Indicate the reason and code for return on your original www.pecadolimited.com invoice and include this invoice with the corresponding merchandise inside your package. Please allow 5-7 business days for returns to be processed. Once the return has been approved, you will receive your refund via the same means used to make your purchase or as store credit to your PEcado account. Please note that refunds can take up to 10 business days to show on your account due to varying processing times between payment providers. PEcado assumes responsibility for return coast/insurance for defective goods only. Save all receipts and correspondence for your own records.

If your order has been sent to a destination within the US or Canada, all sales taxes will be refunded. Outside the US and Canada, customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable through PEcado. However, you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau directly. As this may not be available for all countries, we recommend that you hire a customs broker if you wish to claim back duties on returned merchandise.

PEcado guarantees all workmanship, materials, seam slippage and cracking for a period of one year from the date of purchase. All items are quality controlled and checked for any faults before they are dispatched to customers. Should you receive an item that is not in perfect condition please contact us immediately.

Leather is a natural product, and, as such, each hide will reflect its own individuality. Being treated as disclosed, it is subject to a breaking in period (each leather is subject to its own breaking period of time). Some variations of shade and tone are to be expected as are the nicks, scratches, and wrinkles that only occur in genuine leather; these characteristics are in no way to be considered a defect.

PEcado will repair or replace the defective parts and shipping costs from the retailer to and from PEcado, at no charge to the original retail purchaser. Products that have become damaged due to normal wear, misuse, neglect, accidents, abrasion or exposure to extreme temperatures may be repaired or replaced based on the condition of item and availability of materials. See “Repair Service” policy.

PEcado is pleased to offer complimentary repair service on all PEcado goods. We recommend you visit our store for assistance with repairs. If you cannot bring the product to PEcado store please contact us at the following email address: support@pecadolimited.com so that we may provide a more detailed repair assessment.

Damaged products should be returned directly to the PEcado Corp., Att.: Service Center. Please be sure to include the repair request, your contact information, and original sales slip. All repair information, repair charge estimates and shipping coast will be sent to you, via provided e-mail address, once the assessment has been completed.

If you would like to clean your leather item, we suggest you use a professional leather cleaning, though there are various spot removers and cleaners that can be used for slight stains and general maintenance.


Keep your leather items looking beautiful by following next steps:

  • Store all leather goods away from direct sunlight to prevent the color from fading.
  • Keep leather away from extreme heat as it can dry out the natural oils.
  • Use a dust bag to protect the leather against scratches while storing.
  • Take immediate action if leather gets wet. Wipe it with a soft cloth, pack the inside with paper to absorb any further moisture and leave it to dry naturally. Use a bristled suede brush for maintenance and cleaning of suede items ONLY.
  • Avoid spraying perfume near leather as it can affect its color
  • Do not store light colored leather next to dark colored as darker shades could transfer and cause irreversible damage.
  • Wipe away surface dirt/dust with a damp cloth or with trichloroethylene if resistant (first try on a hidden part of the leather material). Do not use abrasive or solvent cleaners as they will damage leather
  • Suede is a very gentle material and requires extra care. Use suede protector which will help keep out dirt from getting into the leather and will make any type of cleaning easier in the future.

We are happy to design any PEcado product for our customers under the following conditions:

  • All custom order items purchased are pre-paid by the customer at a time of order including group orders.
  • A 25% cancellation fee will be charged on all canceled custom orders prior to manufacture.
  • Once your custom order item has began manufacture your order is non-returnable and non-refundable under any reason or circumstances. Orders can not be modified after production had began.
  • Date of delivery is an estimate only and is based on information provided to PEcado by the customer and subject to availability. In most cases it takes up to 3 weeks for us to manufacture your custom order item(s).
  • Group orders must be shipped to the same location and/or picked up by the individual initiating the order unless prior arrangements have been made.
  • All Custom Orders are based on market price and subject to availability.
